Quelle carte SIM utiliser avec mon ICX35-HWC?

Il existe deux types de cartes SIM qui peuvent être utilisées avec la passerelle cellulaire industrielle ICX35-HWC.

  • Les cartes SIM standard, identiques à celles utilisées dans les téléphones portables.
  • Les carte SIM M2M, dédiées aux communications Machine-to-Machine.

Dans quel cas choisir une carte SIM standard?

Vous pouvez opter pour une carte SIM standard si vous comptez utiliser votre ICX35-HWC et ProSoft Connect pour accéder à votre système à distance de façon temporaire. Ces cartes SIM peuvent également servir pour des communications permanentes si le module cellulaire est configuré en tant que VPN client ouvert (mais cela nécessite d’avoir un serveur VPN pour gérer les communications).

Dans quel cas choisir une carte SIM M2M?

Les cartes SIM M2M peuvent être employées pour des communications permanentes sans que la présence d’un serveur VPN ne soit requise.
