How the ONE Metric Helps You Evaluate Your Network’s Effectiveness

Plant leaders are extremely familiar with the concept of assessing the health of their equipment based on the concept of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). It’s a key metric that indicates the strength of your facility’s operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

But OEE doesn’t tell the full story.

Networks are as critical to operations as equipment is, and can impact plant productivity and automation. Historically, though, there hasn’t been a simple way to track their effectiveness.

That has changed with the ONE metric, though (overall network effectiveness). It’s inspired by OEE and designed for networks. ONE allows plants to track network performance, health, effectiveness, and effect on operational efficiency.
