Saviez-vous que le protocole ProSoft Siemens® Industrial Ethernet peut être utilisé avec les S7-1500 CPU?

Le protocole de communication Siemens® Industrial Ethernet opère tel un client. En effet, il initie la communication avec les CPU S7-1500 dans le but de lire et écrire des données dans le contrôleur.  

A l’instar d’un S7-1200, le S7-1500 possède un mécanisme de protection empêchant certains équipements d’échanger des données avec la CPU.  Cette fonctionnalité peut-être implémentée directement via TIA Portal (le logiciel de programmation dédié aux S7). Par défaut, l’option "Connection mechanisms" est décochée.

En cochant cette option, vous permettez au driver ProSoft SIE de communiquer avec la CPU du S7-1500.
