Connecter différents équipements pour le conditionnement 

C’est une situation courante dans les usines et pour les fabricants de machines: un nouvel équipement doit s’intégrer dans un système existant. Parfois, les machines n’utilisent pas le même protocole, ce qui provoque des problèmes de communication – mais ne vous inquiétez pas, les passerelles autonomes sont là pour ça.

C’est ce qui s’est passé dans une usine de mise en bouteille en Italie. En effet, l’une des machines utilisait un ControlLogix® de Rockwell Automation®, alors que le reste de l’installation était reliée à un système S7™ de Siemens®. L’entreprise avait donc besoin d’une solution de communication adaptée.

Le fabricant de machines en charge du projet a recommandé la mise en place de passerelles autonomes ProSoft Technology. Ce dernier avait déjà utilisé les solutions sans fil ProSoft avec succès, et avait apprécié la facilité de configuration. Le rapport qualité/prix des passerelles a permis de connecter simplement les deux protocoles tout en respectant le budget de l’entreprise !
