Yes! Allen-Bradley has released information regarding a problem that arises in RSLogix500, versions 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, when you try to use the "Read I/O Config" feature or when you download a program to the ProSoft 3250-L532M SLC 5/03 RTU. The problem manifests itself as a change in processor firmware version. If you download a program to the 5/03 RTU and then upload it back, you will notice the selected processor revision has been changed. If you try to run the downloaded program, the 5/03 RTU faults.
Rockwell Software has now released RSLogix500, version 7.30.10, in which this problem has been corrected.
The work-around until AB fixes this is to manually change the processor back to "1747-L532C/D 5/03 CPU - 16K Mem. OS302" before you try to download it back to the SLC 5/03 RTU.
