Running Out of 1794-ASB Spares? ProSoft’s Migration Gateway Can Help
Bakersfield, Calif., October 14, 2015 – If you have FLEX™ I/O on Remote I/O™, you may have heard that the 1794-ASB has been discontinued. If you are concerned about having enough spares, we have good news for you: ProSoft Technology’s EtherNet/IP™ to Remote I/O or DH+™ Gateway now supports migration of FLEX I/O adapters.
If you don’t want to upgrade the entire system yet, the gateway allows your PLC-5® or SLC™ to connect to and control 1794-AENT EtherNet/IP FLEX IO adapters, letting you forgo upgrading your whole system. The gateway supports up to 16 EtherNet/IP connections, and it lets you avoid PLC code changes.
