Utiliser des drives PowerFlex® dans un réseau PROFINET

Les drives PowerFlex® de Rockwell Automation sont réputés dans les automatismes industriels pour leur fiabilité, leur flexibilité, leur résistance et la facilité d’utilisation. De nombreux intégrateurs de systèmes et fabricants de machines, qui connaissent les qualités des drives PowerFlex, sont parfois contraints d’en utiliser d’autres car le protocole industriel supporté n’est pas EtherNet/IP™.    

PROFINET étant l’un des protocoles Ethernet les plus répandus dans le monde, il est souvent choisi pour la création d’installations ou lors du processus de modernisation vers des équipements récents. En revanche, cela condamne ceux qui veulent utiliser des drives PowerFlex à devoir en choisir d’autres...

Nous avons réalisé pour vous un rapport complet montrant comment échanger des données avec un variateur PorwerFlex en utilisant une passerelle EtherNet/IP vers PROFINET device. Cette note technique montre de A à Z toutes les étapes requises pour faire communiquer un controlleur PROFINET (Siemens®, GE...) avec un variateur PowerFlex en EtherNet/IP pour gérer efficacement les démarrages et arrêts d’un moteur et visualiser/modifier les consignes.
