Des Modules Modbus® bientôt obsolètes

Depuis presque 20 ans, le module de communication Modbus de ProSoft pour systèmes ControlLogix® de Rockwell Automation® a permis de connecter différents équipements. Dans quelques mois, l’heure de la retraite aura sonné pour ce module, mais pas d’inquiétude : nous avons d’ores et déjà une solution de remplacement à vous proposer.

A cause de l’obsolescence de l’un de ses composants, le MVI56-MCM ne sera plus disponible en juin 2019. C’est pourquoi ProSoft a développé une nouvelle version encore plus performante. Si votre application comporte un MVI56-MCM, sachez que le nouveau module peut être installé directement à la place de l’ancien (vous n’aurez même pas besoin de modifier le code de votre ControlLogix).

Pour les versions les plus anciennes du MVI56-MCM, certains changements minimes seront peut-être nécessaires : notre support technique est là pour vous assister afin que les changements se fassent sans aucune interruption pour votre installation.

Plusieurs autres modules sont également concernés par ce changement, mais tous ont une solution de remplacement directe disponible. Nous vous avons listé le détail dans le tableau ci-dessous :
